Having just created my first expansion (The Forest Fire), I figured I would lay claim to my next idea! As the title suggests, it's looking like it will involve windmills and bakeries (since they kind of go hand-in-hand). I will update with more of my ideas on how they will play very soon, but consider that my next project!

I heard about this idea from the guy who got us both addicted. It sounds awesome! I've got some questions about the printing process you use to create new tiles that I'll formulate and pass along if you're willing to share your technique.

Without getting into the details of the rules just yet...I just thought I would show the design for my "Bakery" that I just finished some work on... *Update!* I've got the basis for all of my tiles finished...now I just need to make multiples of some of them. I just finished the "Windmill", and decided to make a "Water mill" as well...I hope you enjoy them!

Nice images. Must have taken ages to get those done. The bakery looks a bit too sharp to me and doesn't really fit the "style" of the tiles, but that's no biggie. The waterwheel looks a bit too "flat" and I think it can be increased in width a bit to make it look better, but again, that's a small detail. I like the shadows that you've added to the buildings - it gives them a lot more depth and makes them more 3 dimensional. I look forward to the rest of the expansion!

After putting a lot of time into it this weekend, the Mills and Bakeries expansion seems to be complete. I'll provide a link to the tiles and rules. Let me know if any rules need clarification or if any changes need to be made. I hope you all enjoy it! Good job. Here's a few minor improvement suggestions:
I would delete the sentence "This expansion is designed to be played by itself or with any and all additional expansions." You can't play the game with just 15 tiles (which is what played by itself means).
Second example: "The mill in this example is worth a total of 21 points." would be better as "The mill in this example scores 21 points when completed."
Also you have double acknowledgements for Gantry for the same thing.
It would also be good if you could line up the tile properly (use the arrow keys to nudge them into place).
I'm looking forward to this.
Edit: Added to expansions in development list.

I made the changes you thought necessary. And assuming you are referring to the tiles on the tiles page, I've since lined them up the best they're going to get. Hopefully that is all that needs to be modified. I'm looking forward to playing this as well.

It's just a minor quibble, but the white spaces between the tiles make the page look ugly. Do you think you could put a green background box behind the tiles (try to match the green as close to the farms as possible) to make it look better? That would be perfect if you can.

I really like this idea and these tiles...however, I'd put some houses around the bakery and the windmill, as they were always situated inside of a little community they were not so isolated as you make them look. But your artwork is FABLOUS !

I've fixed the white spaces between the tiles...so with that taken care of...it should be good to go. As for some other comments...thanks for the compliments! I'm glad to hear that other's are enjoying my work! As for adding anything more to the tiles due to them typically being nestled inside a community...I feel like that could be said about a lot of the game's previous tiles as well. I felt like adding any more structures may draw one's attention away from the mills and bakeries and may make the tile look too crowded. Also, depending on how your tiles get placed, you could create your own community for them to exist in!

This is quite nicely done, just a quick question: Since bakeries can be in more than 1 mill's range, there could be more than one baked goods token per bakery, so what happens when the supply runs out? This is yet another expansion I wish I had the blank tiles for...

That is a very good question. My ruling would be that a single bakery will only supply ONE baked good. Therefore, if it lies within the range of a completed mill, and has already supplied a token, it will NOT give out another token upon completion of another mill that shares that bakery. I hope that made sense. Is that something I should add to the rules? I'm glad you approve of the expansion!

How would you keep track which bakery has already supplied the good? It would be confusing in a large game with multiple expansions. Wouldn't it be better to add an extra 3 or so tokens and say that after it runs out, tough?

I would agree with Novelty on this. It would make it easier, though an extra three might be too many.
