I really must contend with your point that it may seem too difficult to determine which bakeries have already supplied someone with a baked good. If it falls within the confines of a completed mill (one of the three tiles going any which way)...then it has already been allocated to someone. I just feel strongly that a bakery should only provide it's baked good one time and one time only. If you really want more tokens for when you play...print the token sheet out twice and add your desired amount.  Smiley

Well, at the risk of sounding wishy-washy, you make a good point.

What if no one placed a meeple on that mill when it was played?  What if you missed it because you were playing with 500 tiles?  Trust me, I'd need some way to track whether a bakery has given out the token in my games.  I have no idea about anyone else though.  I guess in my variant, we'll just place a token on the tile after it's played and when that's claimed, then it's gone.

I like that idea... (similar to my fish token in Explorers and Traders)

That sounds like an excellent solution/idea.

I was actually going to suggest something like making a tile to place on there. Would you like me to make a few tokens for that purpose only? If so, what type of tile/token would be appropriate and/or cool?

Also, in regards to whether the baked good is still given to someone who completes an unclaimed mill...yes, it is.

Unless I'm mistaken, I think Novelty is referring to the bread token itself.  It would make a lot of sense to put it out on top of the tile when it is played and then collect it when it is scored.

making the tiles is easy
since I live in Europe, I always order blanc tiles from Hans im gluck, just print out the tiles on A4 label paper, stick them on and curt out
the tokens are done the same way, Ijust use 1mm hardbaord for them

I think Millers would be good candidates for conversion by the Missionary as well.

I think there is a mistake in the example.  If the mill is worth 15 and Bakeries in range of the Mill are worth 3 each, than in your example, the completed mill should be worth 24, not 21.  Just wanted to make sure I understand it right.
