Now is my Almanach in the mail. €12.55 for four tiles is a tad steep - but the evilness that will now be in my possession makes it totally worth it. Muahaah

You get the tiles, which cam completely alter how a game plays and a worthwhile read as well. Money well spent for a true fan.

I am visiting Koln for the next week +. As in my previous post I am willing to check at the myriad of small game shops for the almanac if anyone is interested and I will pick as many up as I can find for those who are interested. Just post a reply and as many as I read I will get that many ... that is if I can find any. I can ship them for free once I get back. The only downfall is the dollar is way down against the Euro =/ so I am not sure what it will cost to pick them up. Just let me know if you have a limit or I guess I will just be stuck with a bunch of Cathars tiles ... =))

Finally got my Cathars in the mail that I ordered from Pia about a month ago! But the long wait was worth it. If her stock fills back up again, it's definitely an easy route to take!
Can someone remind me...You can take knights out of a besieged city (with an adjacent cloister or abbey), but does that rule apply to knights only, followers only, meeples only? For example, can you remove builders? Mayors?

I suspect that builders cannot escape since they are not followers. If all the knights escape, the builder would be automatically removed since he cannot exist by himself. Big followers would definitely be considered "knights", but I'm not sure about mayors. My inclination is that the Mayor could probably escape too since he is a follower, but I'm not certain.
Considering Cathars is out-of-print, I doubt that Pia will get anymore until Spielbox does a new almanac.

Borderking, yes knights can be removed from an incomplete cathared city providing it touches onto a cloister/abbey. A builder cannot be in a city on its own. A mayor is not a knight so I presume would have to remain until the city is completed and scored, however rule clarification maybe needed on that one. I would also assume that the wagon would be stuck in a cathared city as it is not a knight either, so careful placement is a must.

Hi all, new here. I am interested in the Cathars tiles. Looks like an e-bay auction is out. Already up to $39.00
Does anyone have Pia's e-mail address?
Or any other source.
Much appreciated

I think the only way to obtain the Cathars now is, unfortunately, eBay. Mine cost me €35.25 (about £26 or $52) which included shipping from Germany. I believe shipping to the USA was about €2 more. It is a bit much for 4 tiles, in fact, now I think about it... extortionate! But, for me, I am pleased that I actually own them. Lets hope the new tiles coming in Count, King and Consort will be similar.
