I just played this game less than an hour ago and although it's not as great as Carc, it nevertheless is a short game.  It's also Game of the Year for 2005 and makes a great "gateway" game for new boardgame players.  I wonder why it's not more popular.  I'd recommed it, and it's great even for youngish players.
