Each month , as a group, we will concentrate our focus on developing one of the "archived" expansions to get it to "completed".  Archived expansions are those where ideas have been proposed, but little or no work has been done to get it to "completed" (i.e. Public Downloads status.  I propose that as a team/group, we work through the issues and come to consensus about the final idea and then someone or someones (volunteers, hopefully) will create the tiles and the rules to get it ready for download.

Also, during each month, we will also vote on the next expansion that we would like to concentrate on the following month.  The options for June 2009 (voting in May 2009) are:

Hog Roast - idea by Joff (1 vote previously)
The Constable - idea by kissybooboo
Meeple Upgrades - idea by kjamma4
Foreign Traders & Harbour Towns - idea by Lakoda
Lord of the Rings - idea by CKorfmann
The "King" and Citadel Meeple - idea by Joff
The Apprentice - idea by Jabberwocky
Roman Roads and Parthenon  - idea by Jabberwocky
The Commons and Central Market  - idea by Jabberwocky
Spatial Manifold or The Wormhole (same thing, different names) - idea by Jabberwocky and CKorfmann respectively.
Icons - idea by Deatheux
Four Horsemen of the Acopolypse - idea by PinkPaiseley
Oxbow - idea by Jabberwocky
The Void - idea by Jabberwocky
Here Be Dragons - idea by Jabberwocky

Remember, only vote if you are going to contribute (i.e. post your ideas/suggestions) next month.  To those named above - if you would like your expansion to be removed from the list, please let me know.  Vote by posting below, and please state what you'd be willing to contribute.  Thanks.

Just for the record, the following people are working on:
CKorfmann - The Missionary
Novelty - Fountain of Youth DoneWill be developing Trifecta after this. Done
Chr15lynn - Wheatfields (tiles) Done
ShadowP68 - Inn and Stable Owners Done
skipboris - The Ocean
wellidesigns - Vineyards.

Also, voting for May 2009 has been extended till 3rd May, so please go vote here. Time's Up!

I like several, but I'm trying to pick between the Vineyards and the Constable.  I guess I'll go Vineyards this time again and Constable next time.

I'm not sure how much value the Constable will add especially when compared with (the already available) Kevin Graham's Prison (it's on the public downloads).  Perhaps the Constable can be tweaked to be an expansion or a variant to The Prison instead of a standalone (although I suppose it can serve as a standalone).

Anyways, vote count:
Vineyards: 1

Well, I think I might like this one a little better than the Prison.  Not that the prison is not good, but this seems a little easier and I like that they can score for the connected cities.  It makes this piece very strategic.

Are you changing your vote?  The advantage of the Constable is that it's a meeple-only expansion and does not include any new tiles.

Well, I dont' know...  I guess if there was someone who wanted to work on the tiles, or if Wellidesigns wanted to finish them, I'd probably stick with Vineyards.  But if don't have a taker, I know how busy you are and I guess I'd be willing to run with the Constable.  It would probably require very little effort to finish and I assume Jabberwocky would be involved.

I don't think wellidesigns has the time to do vineyards.

Also, why would you assume Jabberwocky will be involved?

OK, I guess I'll switch my vote to Constable and I'd be willing to take the lead on it if you want.  I guess I made the assumption about Jabberwocky because it was his idea.  It wouldn't be a bad thing if he were not involved.  His input would certainly be welcome if not encouraged.

That's the thing.  It's not his idea.  The original idea was by kissybooboo.

Vote recount:
Constable - 1

That's good news.

Votes:
Constable = 1
Roman Roads = 1
Vineyards = off the list as wellidesigns will do it when she has the time.

Edit: OK, I vote for Commons and Central market.  That was the one thing that metoth voted for that didn't get done this month.  So that makes the total:

Constable = 1
Roman Roads = 1
Commons and Central market = 1
