I play Midnight/MU http://www.midnightmu.com/games_home.php which is a turn based online multi-player version of the 1980's game 'Lords of Midnight'. Totally addicted to it and the forum is fantastic. It's a nice slow paced game. You can have several games on the go at once and of course you only play when your turn comes around. 2 to 8 people can play in a game.... and it's free and browser based, so no software to install (unless you want the campaign manager tool).
