Hello from Calgary!

I have a number of useless tiles and was wondering if a file exists that has the grey Carcassonne "C" tiled to match the excellent custom expansion sheets produced by Scott, Novelty and others here? I'm hoping to use framing matte paper and adhere the expansion tile images to the front but would also like the "C" on the back.

Thanks for reading; have a great day!

Well, if you order blank tiles from HiG they come up with the "C" logo on the back. But you can always scan it, print it and glue it to the tile.

You can get the grey Carc C from Maulei's Treasure Hunt expansion available on the downloads page.

Bah?!, I forgot I still have the frame from the mini expansion.  I'll scan it and get 2 pages up for people who may want them.  It probably won't be very high quality as I only have access to an average scanner, but its the backs (so who really cares).

You might be surprise what an average scanner can do!  Please do scan it at at least 300 dpi (I prefer 600 personally so that it can be shrunk down to 300!) and that resolution would probably make it look almost as good as the original.

I didn't think to change from 300 to something higher, but I think it turned out OK.  I can try again with a higher res if people think it is needed.  I did the river/start (dark) back first, with the intention of doing the normal (light) back tomorrow night.  I put them in a PDF - it really hard to get them sized right, btw.  I did a LQ test and the size seems right to my and the wife.  I didn't know where else to put them so I upped them to my rapidshare account; same image on an A4 sheet and a US-Letter sheet.

Just in case anyone wants 'em, here is the native image in 300x300 - you'll notifce the image has only 4 rows, I added the 5th to the PDFs only.  And because Novelty put the idea in my head, I did do a rescan in 600 and 1200, but they are too big to waste the time uploading.  Since other people may not have RS accounts, here is all of the files in one nice zip file that can be dl'd without a premium account.

Can I put up the native image as part of the public downloads on this site?

That's fine by me.  If you would prefer I can send you the 600x600.

As I'm at work, I will do so as soon as I get home tonight (and after I shovel the driveway).

So the 600x600 is around 16mb and zipping it only gets it to 12mb.  In both cases it is too large for yahoo mail.  I upped it to RS here.  Sorry, but it is the best solution I have given email not working.

Same as before, but with the light/normal backs; same image on an A4 sheet and a US-Letter sheet.  Just in case anyone wants 'em, here is the native image in 300x300 - you'll notice the image has only 4 rows, I added the 5th to the PDFs only.  Since other people may not have RS accounts, here is all of the files in one nice zip file that can be dl'd without a premium account.

I didn't feel the need to redo the dark backs with the 600x600 scan and so I didn't even make a light back scan at 600x600 (and know that I know how ridiculously huge 1200x1200 is I won't ever do that again...well, maybe for just one tile Wink ).
