Carcassone 5 Players, Expansions 6???

Hi,

I been scouring t'interweb and this board, but cannot find the answer to a confusion I have.....

My son was bought the game for his birthday, with 2 exapnsion packs ( P & D and A & M ). The main game says on the box 2 - 5 players, yet both exapanisons state 2 - 6 players..... the A & M exp includes a 6th set ( Coloured GREY ). As the main game only has 5 colours ( Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Black), how does one introduce the 6th player on expansions?

Sorry if this has been asked - I could not find via a search.

You get the normal grey meeples with the first expansion "Inns & Cathedrals".

The PDF Rule downloads (Awesome resource) Talks about Carcassone City - is this introduced as an expansion? I am confused how the Dragon cannot enter Carcassone (FAQ 12 on the PDF) ...... how is the Carcassone City deferent from a regular city? Or is that another expansion?

Carcassonne: The City is a stand alone spinoff:

The city of Carcassonne in the original game is an another expansion, called the count of Carcassonne, with special Rules. (you`ll find them in the download section)
