I recently received my Cult, Siege, and Creativity expansion and was dismayed to see that the backs of the tiles were miscolored.  I've reached out to RGG about this issue -- I'm hoping they can fix it.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Also, does anyone have a copy of the original Die Katharer tiles?  Those "siege" tiles were much better since they actually showed the walls being broken down. Much easier to identify at the end of the game.

Yes, the colors of the Cult, Siege & Creativity tile backs are different than most other tiles. It was a print-run issue. If you have all the expansions including the promos, you'll realize that this is a fairly common occurrence. I fear that nothing will be done about it. The best way to avoid the issue is to use a grab bag and not the tower.

I have a copy of Cathars. They are awesome, but the green is slightly off just like most of the Spielbox tiles. The tile is slightly darker too. They will never be made available again and Cunco ran out of the tiles before US shipping ever even worked. Sorry! I agree that the Siege tiles stink but it's all we've got.

If you happen to drink alcohol, get some Crown Royal which is a blended canadian whisky and fairly inexpensive. Should your tastes run you to the top shelf such as myself, pick up some Blanton's, a single barrel bourbon. Both come with a free tile drawing bag......a win win!    ((And Blantons has a nice metal horse/jockey top attached to the cork that you might be able to reuse in some horse racing game should you happen to play one))

I use a pair of bags I got from Star Wars pancake stencils from Pampered Chef or something like that. I've used the bags quite a bit, but hardly any of the stencils more than twice. The bags are about twice the size of the bag that comes with Inns & Cathedrals.

We use the draw bag that comes with Qwirkle. It's a large size heavy cloth bag with a nice heavy draw string. I've commandeered it from the Qwirkle game to keep with Carcassonne.

Big Box II didn't have it either...   Sad

I'm going to make one, though.  I have the font on my computer, and I think I know someone that can embroider it on some fabric.  Once that's done, I can make a nice drawstring bag!

How large are the bags travel bags?

They are just slightly bigger than the blue one, approx. 7.25 in x 11.25 in.

And no, the draw bag comes with Inns & Cathedrals.

I knew I wasn't going crazy haha

I was totally convinced it was Inns & Cathedrals until checking! Guess that shows how often I read those rules anymore...

The Crown Royal bag I have is far too small for playing Carc, but it's probably from a regular-sized bottle. I've had the bag for over 20 years.

Still using the bag from Traders and Builders, but last time we played it was not easy to get all the tiles in the bag. I'm planning to have a larger one made (got some fabric similar to the T&B bag) but the person who will be making it for me never gets around to it.

I'd also like to get small bags for the meeples, one for each player.
