State of Affairs... (All the new stuff)

Seems to be several threads all about new stuff, so I thought I'd make this attempt at bringing them altogether.

New Stand alone game: Possibly called New World. Possibly having a system of laying tiles East to West. Possibly out this year.

New Expansion: Very little known (could even be same as above!)

Games Quarterly Magazine free mini expansion: I found a site saying Summer 2007 for this but it had not been updated recently. This could be a re-issue of the 4 Cathar tiles.

Travel Carcassonne: Appears to be the base game (with River?). Smaller tiles, smaller Meeples. Cloth bag to keep tiles in that has the scoreboard printed on it... that's just daft!

On top of this there are no doubt countless unofficial expansions being created as I type.

Have I covered it? If anyone's got more details, start adding them here!!

Oops! Have we? In that case we won't be getting that one then! If it was to have been The Cathars then it was nothing new anyway... although would have helped those without it.

How does one get their hands on all the expansions; ie. Cathers, Abby, etc. I cannot find a place in the US that sells them. Thanks.

Ask Gantry about the games store he knows online in Canada, close enough being your neighbours and all that.  I cant remember their name but they had all the Carc bits, dont think you will see the new abbeys one outside of Germany for a while though.

Stick carcassonne into Wikipedia and go for the game result for a simple list of all the expansions.... and then try eBay for them.

yes i would try ebay or a search, you'll probably find better results as not all online stores necessarily have all the expansions, esp the new ones
