Could we pull this off?  We've been occasionally tossing around the idea of getting together with other members and have a good game.  I think this would be really cool to try though I'm not sure where to begin.  We'd probably have to start with something regional and see where it goes.  I'd just be glad to play a couple times with people I didn't have to teach!

I would be interested in this. Perhaps a good idea might be to piggy back this with another established CON.

For instance, I attend BGG.CON every year in Dallas. (November). I would be interested in playing Carcassonne at BGG.CON or we could meet a day before / after the CON for a Carcassonne gathering.

Other than that, some of the other smaller regional CONS would be good. Difficulty is I do not know where other members are from on this site, so it is hard to pick a good convenient location that would draw a number of players.

Anything reasonably near Indianapolis and I'd try to hit it.  I do go to Gen Con every year too.

I could do Indy.  I live in NC, but have a friend in Lafayette.  I really like Indianapolis too.

Do you come to Gen Con ever?  I met Jay last year in the RGG room.  He was pretty nice.  They were showing Dominion Prosperity at the time, you could buy a pre-release.  In checking it out, they had tables of other games, and one was Carc.  I watched one game and mostly figured out how to play it by just watching so I went out to the dealer's floor and bought it...lol...the rest is history!

I've never been, but it sounds like a plan!  Let's do it!  That seems far enough in the future to make it happen one of those days.  Any other mid-westerners?

I'm on the east coast near Raleigh, NC.  Any others out this way?  With all you guys out in BC and that area, it sounds like one could readily be done out there too.  Normally, I wouldn't think I could do that one, but I've got a friend a few hours from Spokane too that I plan to visit at some point.  Could be possible for me.

I'd so love to come!  Probably can't do it, but stranger things have happened.

I'd love to do Gen Con, but I there's a 2 week camping event that I attend in PA during the same time. I did get a pre-release of Prosperity though as a friend of mine was there and picked it up for me. Smiley  Other than that, I'll likely be near the Indy area around the 4th of July weekend.
