What do you guys think? Do castles count as finished cities when scoring for Famine (from Wheel of Fortune) or for the King at the end of the game?

I think HiG went a long way in their rules to note that cities are replaced by castles and not the same thing. However, I'd say that Castles count toward the Wheel of Fortune for Famine since Famine is adding up the points for farms...technically. However, I don't think Castles count for Kings because they are not cities, which is what Kings count. That's just my two cents.

I would have no trouble scoring a castle for famine since you do score them for farmers (and in fact they get an extra point).  It may be a little bit difficulte to justify them for the King, but perhaps the fact that they are scored for farmers might go a long way to do so.  I guess that's up to you until we get something official.

Good luck with that. Only Big Boxes answer ambiguous scenarios, and it doesn't do that well.

13 man on the field IS a penalty!!!!!(10 yards, automatic 1st down)

A match can never be ended on a defensive penalty!!!
