Carcassonne with a Kiwi

On Saturday I introduced Carcassonne to a friend of mine who is visiting from New Zealand (people from New Zealand are called Kiwis). We played with just vanilla Carc and the river, because I like to keep things simple the first time around. The game took a little over an hour because my brother and I had to explain some things along the way. Not sure if he enjoyed himself enough to play again, but I was glad to get a game in since I haven't played for over a year.
