Per some requests, here are a couple shots of the tiles I created with official Carcassonne tiles.
Here I have JPutt's Season's expansion tiles along with one of his Witches & Wizards tiles played along with official Carcassonne tiles.

In this shot, I show a Windmills and Bakery tile side by side with an official tile.

In this shot I tried to show the similar size and thickness between the two. I did stagger the two tiles just slightly to show similar edging.

Here is the Season's expansion, with a few condition tiles on the condition board

The full Lake expansion. (The only reason there are slight lines on the large lake tile are because my printer was on the incorrect setting)

Finally, a picture showing the Chariot Racing expansion. I have a small bag that I use to draw the race tiles from.

I use full sheets of sticker paper that I print on and then adhere to the chipboard (in the US, chipboard is basically the same material that the official Carcassonne tiles are made from). I then cut the squares out by hand with scissors. I am normally quite picky but I find that this method holds up well.

Well, these tiles look pretty good.  I assume you don't use the tile backs, right?  If you haven't seen it, you might be interested in THIS thread about the press cutter.

If I'm seeing correctly you've made the tiles from a type of cardboard? I was getting a little confused when you used the term 'chipboard', as here in New Zealand that's a type of building material made from glued & pressed wood chips (often used as cheap flooring). I presume it's one of those cultural/lingual differences, like thong. So what exactly is chipboard you used? I've been using a thick, stiff cardboard but if there's a better material (that doesn't cost the earth) I'd like to use it.

'Chipboard' in the UK is also a type of building material made from glued & pressed wood chips. Carcassonne tiles are made from a cardboard known as 'chipboard' in the US. I don't know what they call it in the UK though.

I think the concepts for both kinds of chipboard are the same.  We use chipboard for floors in the U.S. too.  One particular type is called OSB and a lot of people refer to it by that name.  I think the process is similar to the cardboard version.  It's made of recycled cardboard chips and glued together.

I think...  Grin

Can we see some pics of the rest of the Seasons tiles?  I'm curious how the season condition tiles and some of the other stuff turned out.

I updated my first post to include pictures of some of the latest expansions I have printed out and created, including the Seasons expansion.
