Shipping from German eBay sellers is usually ridiculously high for such a small item (even including the Almanac). I don't know how they get away with it.

Feel free to start one, although you should probably have at least one source you know of before posting. I'd like to know too since it is one of the only reasons I haven't purchased more colored sets (I'd like a Yellow and a Purple set).

Yeah, that's the problem, they are nowhere to be found in new color sets.  You can get them from Jay at RRG, but they are only existing colors.  Painting them is not much fun.

Yeah, I did that with Settlers pieces only to repaint them back to their original colors when T&B came out and I had run out of paint for two of the new colors. Not fun at all. I ended up buying a new set of Seafarers right after, too, which would have saved me a lot of trouble since those 15 ships were some of the most annoying to paint (the cities were the worse).

I think the cities and ships would be a joy to paint after sanding down 30 little sheep with all of their little bumps and cracks.  Undecided  I assume it will be worth it in the end.

I think I've sufficiently hijacked this thread now...  I'll ask for it to be split.
