Right, it's soon pay day and I'll spend some money on a new game  Grin

The question is if I want to buy Arc or City. I've only played City once - and we didn't even finish because we were rudely interupted by a farting baby and a very disgruntled spouse. I made a tactical withdrawal to the nearest pub and waited for my friend to .. well, be a dad and good husband for a while ..

Arc I've never played. City is twice the price, and since I'm a student money is always an issue (I need to save some for wine and tobacko - you know)!

Any suggestions? Which is the best 2-player game? Which has the best replay value? Which is the more strategic and tactical of the two?

Arc is closer to Carc than City, which is a different routine altogether.  City is on my shopping list!

Haven't played either, but have read a few reviews.

They both sound good so you can't lose with either I would suspect - from what I have read I agree with Gantry in that Arc is more similar to regular Carc than City.

From the reviews I have read it would seem that the City is more tactical and strategic than Arc

Hm, okay. If I can convince Sara that I need another game and that she is supposed to share the cost I'll get City - else I'll get Arc. It's a win-win situation Smiley

I went with Arc since I want to buy that rip-off game as well. I'll buy City next month or so instead Smiley
