Where are you, guys?
Am I noticing some low activity on this forum?
Are people not playing the game?
Don't people need any help?
Don't people have any comments?
Don't people have anything to tell us about?
Don't people have any suggestions?
Aren't people surfing the net?
Is it the right time to improve this forum?
Should there be any kind of prize winning competition?
Or... Am I just overreacting?

I'd say overreacting.  This forum has never been really "busy".  Instead of depending on other people though, why not start your own posts?  Ask your own rules questions?  Discuss about the various expansions?  Perhaps even start a forum game!  Rather than ask where other people are, the question you should be asking is what are you doing to make this forum better and to encourage more people to participate?

since this forums is deliberate on weird variants most of the time, the next expansion is kinda weak and up to date all ruling seems to be clear & undersood, the people shall be stanby, as i do!!

LOL, the variants and fan-made expansions are not as weird as Catapult Smiley  But I agree, the variants forum isn't for everyone.  Although, don't be too surprised if RGG decides to publish something from there Wink  And before the mob starts there, let me just say that's just a pipe dream at the moment.

The next thing you should look forward to is Matt's latest CAR.  When he gets to update it that is...

Also, we could do with more reviews of the latest expansions including Siege and Catapult, news of upcoming Carcassonne releases by HiG and/or RGG, pictures from the latest Carcassonne World Championship in Essen...

Don't get me wrong, Novelty. I meant no harm. I didn't mean to harm the forum or the members in any way. My purpose was just to make members participate more and guests to become members. Sorry if things went the other way.

Like every other forum this one has its busy moments and its slower periods. I am sure that once more members have played Catapult there will be more post about that expansion - for example.

Activity isn't linear, it comes in spurts. In fact there were so many posts in the variants forum I had to mark all as read without reading many of them  Embarrassed because I hadn't the time. I think things will pick up during and after Christmas, when people will have some new Carc games under their Christmas tree.

I started a new job halfway through November which reduced my spare time from most of the day to just the evenings.

Excuses, excuses.  I sent him a PM earlier this week.  You, OTOH, could probably drive over to see him in person Grin
