OK, I've switched the practice/se around as per Joff's recommendations.  The corrected rules.

Can you guys point me to a dictionary that corroborates your viewpoint on practice vs. practise?

Chambers English Dictionary
Collins English Dictionary
Oxford English Dictionary

All three give practice as a noun, practise as the verb.

Although you are able to use practice along with practicing without any fear of being incorrect Wink

Please remember that I'm from the UK and do not use US English but British English, which can sometimes be a cause of confusion when we write. This is why I spell 'colour' like I do, no matter who i'm writing for Wink

Edit: It seems as if it is a US/British English peculiarity: http://www.askoxford.com/concise_oed/practice?view=uk

Thanks, I knew I was right about -ise vs. -ice suffixes. All the dictionaries I was checking must have been American dictionaries so I couldn't find any proof to back myself up.

I know this thread is forever old, but I was revisiting the Apple expansion and thinking about how much I like it.  I think it would be great to have an equivilent to play in a game without forests.  I hope to make the forest tiles, or at least some of them some day, but perhaps someone else may not want to do so and still be interested in the Apples.  My suggestion would be, since there are only six tiles in the original expansion (I know a few more have been added to subsequent expansions here and there) that perhaps it could be expanded to 12 or 15 and the additional tiles use an orchard on the tile similar to some of the field tiles like Vineyards or Wheatfields.  This would allow for many more people to enjoy the expansion.  Just a thought...

If that's the case, Korf, why not have your own house rule where a forest = a field with apples and you can place it next to any field?  Just pretend the whole area with trees is an orchard in a field.

Not a bad idea.  It would work.  I just figured you didn't have enough to do.   Wink
