So other than the obvious (subscription or ebay) where might one acquire a games quarterly magazine?  Any suggestions.  Huh?

You could try the local game shop. I ordered it online though - from a Swedish online game shop.

A few back copies are available on thoughthammer and on funagain games sites.  I hope this doesn't violate any rules of the forum by mentioning them.

Also, when I subscribed to GQ they sent me two back issues...one of which had the mini-expansion (#11) and one with an expansion for Settlers of Catan (#10)

Just read on BGG that GQ is no more - apparently it has ceased production.  Looks like we may not get Kathars after all.

The GQ website doesnt mention anything about it, but then it doesnt say much about anything really.

If it is finished thats a real shame.

Glad we bought The Cathars when we did then.

Was supposed to be released in May 2007.

Jay from Rio Grande posted on BGG that, due to a licensing issue with Spielbox, he will not be able to distribute Die Katherer in the U.S.  So it seems the official Cathars expansion remains elusive. For anyone who wants to add this expansion to their collection by making their own tiles, here's the best image i've found: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/fileinfo.php?fileid=11376

But no point ordering it online Hypnotoad seeing as it appears to be finished.

There are copies of The Cathars along with the Almanac available on Ebay, thats where we got our copy from.
