I thought about Friar and Farmhand, but decided I wasn't going to use them basically because it would be a waste for the 2 tiles. The King and Robber Baron has the images on both sides of the tiles, presumably to avoid confusion with a playable tile. Likewise, Friar and Farmhand probably needs to be the same, and can be easily done with some cardboard.
I'll use the 2 blank tiles for Cathars instead. 2 tiles now, 2 tiles with the 2nd box of CS&C. What will I do with the extra 10 non-blank tiles from the 2nd box? Well, I haven't yet decided, but it should be easy to create 10 custom tiles that I want to paste over the tiles from the 2nd box.

That is a very, very good point.

You know, there's a pair of custom tiles I pulled through a link on Martin Storbeck's site. They are of a road passing through a city. On one tile the city gates are open, on the second one they're closed (thus cutting off the road).
From what I remember, there were no rules to go with this unique pairing, but their simplicity appeals to me. They would be a perfect fit for "two blank tiles."

Yeah, I'd be willing to share them, but I'm a bit leary of posting them without giving credit where it's due. Give me a day to see if I can track down their original source.

Heh, oh no, please don't post them. I'd like to have a link the original source if possible.

Found them! They come from "Weg durch die Stadt" by Silvio Schumacher. At the very bottom of the page: http://www.carcassonne-welt.de/ideen.php click on the picture itself to download the zip. No rules that I can find to go with the tiles, but the open/closed gates just beg for something...

I'm trying to contact the artist who drew the 2 tiles to ask him a few questions (and whether he'll draw a robin hood for me!). Does anyone know how to contact him or if he has a webpage? Please PM me. Thanks.
