Here's a list of some of the more interesting resources on Carcassonne Central that a gamer might be interested with:
1. Matt Harper's Completely Annotated Rules (CAR). The latest version as of 1st September 2008 is
version 5.0 (pdf). This document collects together all the rules of each and every expansion available and includes, via footnotes, clarifications by HiG or RGG where the rules are unclear. Discussion, suggestions and feedback may be provided at
this forum thread.
2. Scott's and Novelty's 100-point scoring thread. This is an image of the scoring track expanded to 100 spaces (instead of the original 50). The image is hosted on this site
Downloads section and may be downloaded as a
pdf or a
png (large file).
3. The
guide to all the expansions, spin-offs and expansions to the spin-offs, and the reprints. This forum post will explain which expansion is an expansion compatible with the original game and which expansion is actually a spin-off, and thus not compatible with the original game.
4. Talk about the variants in the
Variants Workshop. You can also create your own variants and get feedback about those variants. There's also a
Variants Registry on the site.
5. Talk about upcoming releases. Start with the
Upcoming releases post and navigate from there to the appropriate thread.
6.
Download custom tiles. If you would like some custom tiles, but have no idea how to do them, you can
request for custom tiles.
