OK, 6 more tiles. I have no idea why, but I did not save the "bottom" forest template so I'll have to recreate it again from scratch . Enjoy... or disregard if you wish! As usual, click on the images below for a larger version of the tiles. Disclaimer: These tiles may not print out 100% for you. All rights to these tiles belong to HiG/RGG. Gantry, if you could add these to the downloads, it'd be appreciated. Thanks! Also, if someone would like to PDF everything into a format that would print in the correct size, I'd appreciate it, but please make it available for others to download freely here. Thanks.

Alright, a new custom tiles zip file is available in downloads. It's getting pretty big, so my idea of creating a new all-images-in-one zip file is a bit hard on the bandwidth, so next time around I think I will just make individual update zips with only the newest additions in them.

I'd love seeing some vineyards, as this is such a typical french thing I'd like to see some too, but I'm at the moment in the middle of forests and I don't want to be in the middle of 2 things. Also I'll need to keep an eye out for a vineyard image I can "steal" or find the time to draw something in the same style as Carcassonne and either one of those would take some time. I'll keep the idea in mind, but I hope you understand and accept my apologies for why I can't entertain this request right now. I will definately try to do so in the future, perhaps when I have more time!

I would say go for it! Just download the tile images from Boardgamegeek.com if you don't have a good scanner (make sure you credit the people!). The Abbey and Mayor and Graf, Koenig and Kulstatten tile images there are some of the best.

perhaps also some lavendar fields as well. Gives a nice purple touch to the game.

I would have thought that the vineyards with grapes will have a purple touch?

All these are nice tiles. So I purpose: Why don't we get a new expansion with no particular theme, but just with some extra new tiles with new configurations such as these? Or would that be a problem for future themed expansions?

If you just want new tiles, with no new rules, then you don't need an expansion. It's up to you which of the tiles you want to use, so you can download what you like and make those into tiles.
