Play tested the "bad luck" method with a set of new tiles I printed off. Worked out great except for when you tie for majority in the princess city. So updated the rule to whomever places the finishing tile, regardless if they occupy the city, captures all the princess meeple within.  Game ended up with one player with all the princess meeple which actually made him win by 2 points.  The one thing I noticed you get to choose where the city and princess go with this method. Will play test next weekend with the token method to see how it difers.

added the Royal Guard to this expansion which are all road tiles.  These are played just like princess tiles which a player placing the Royal Guard on an occupied road may choose to kick off one meeple. The player using this action cannot place ameeple on the royal guard tile. If this action is not used, then the player plays the tile like normal. A special action occurs when you connect two cities together by a road with the royal guard. If one or more cities have the princess meeple in them then the royal guard automatically transports them clockwise to the next connected city with the road.  The Royal Guard worked extremely well with the Wells fanspansion making players wanting to play the roads. And the tile artwork I made up turned out great in my opinion Grin ...same goes for the Prince tiles I made which are used to lay down the Princess Meeple inspired by the Prince and the Fairy Queen but with different art. The prince tile cannot be played in a city with a princess tile. If a princess tile is played in a city with a prince tile, the princess meeple is taken out of the game. However, unlimited prince tiles with princess meeple can be played in the same city.

Did you get a chance to test the token method over the weekend?  Also, do you have the tiles in a format that you can share?

Unfortunately no, my gaming circle bugged out last minute.. Hopefully the next will be more fruitful. I will try to upload the tiles later this week, but I am finding it difficult to size them right and keep them hi-res somehow.
