'The School' mini expansion planned for Spiel 2011

The promo image suggests only one and the description seems to support that. The promo packs that Carcatronn is buying includes a cloth bag with a meeple printed on it and the Dominion promo cards. I'm pretty sure that the Dominion cards are German-language versions since they say "Carcassonne" rather than "Walled Village" on them. I guess we'll see how much they'll cost and how many tiles come with it, but in either case remember that most initial proceeds go to a charity.

I have bad news, must have misunderstood HiG, they are restricting me from selling this item to others due to conflicts with RGG. I am very sorry, everyone will either have to order through HiG's website after Essen or attend Essen this year to get this

actually if they will sell you 'x' copies I highly doubt they have any authority to prevent resale, although I suppose they can threaten not to sell you future product.

But once I own something, I can resell it, unless you sign a contract expressly saying you won't

If the majority of us are in the US, my sister-in-law is living in Germany this fall and I fully plan to exploit that fact to purchase as many copies of this as possible. I don't yet know how to go about that, but after Essen is over, I will email Hans I'm Glück and ask if the procedure is the same as usual (send in money, get expansion). If so, I will order probably ten, if possible, have them sent to my sister-in-law, and then have her bulk mail them to me or bring them back with her in December. In either case, I'll try to grab some spares that I can resell at cost to you guys. I may try my hand at selling a few online as well, but we shall see about that later.

Thanks for that image.  It looks like that expansion comes with a meeple.  Probably a neutral one.  Any ideas about mechanics?

Looks like a purple Phantom to me. Perhaps for the people that purchased the 10th Anniversary Edition in lieu of buying the Phantom expansion?

HiG finally has a photo of this expansion on their site.  It is more than one tile.  Could it be the first official double-tile?  I'm not sure how it would work otherwise.  Check it out HERE and share your thoughts.
