Here's one I found last night whilst seaching here and there and generally poking my nose into places...

It's a game called Cassiopeia.... or Carcassonne by any other name!! I've downloaded both versions of the game - one is set in space!! but not really had a chance to play as yet. It's Java and can be played as a stand-alone or online game plus network play. I couldn't find any instructions, but like  said not looked that much.

Here's the link :

Carcassonne with a space skin sounds like instant win. Unfortunately I can't get it to run properly on my machine.

How quaint!  Well it is an early version, perhaps it will get better over time.  This goes to prove, (kids, make a note of this,) not everything works better with a space theme!

Being the absolute videogame nerd that I am, I'll probably end up making a homemade set with a Halo theme. Forerunner structures instead of cities, "slipspace streams" instead of roads, shipping yards instead of monestaries (or cloisters I think they're called here).  The meeples could be little ships. Yeah, it could work.

You might need to download a (different) version of the Java Runtime package - try www.sun.com  .....think that's right...

When I tried to run it, it said that I had another java application open that it conflicted with (which was true, I had 2 others open), I never realized before that Java apps could "conflict" with one another.  Also, my java is up to date as well.
