This is an idea I have collected / plagerised / adapted

and our games sometimes play the following expansion.

I took a bunch of city tiles with a symbol for revolution on them, i.e. the yellow and red pennants from your families expansion. When this tile is drawn the player can "quite legitimately" place this tile on an opponents city and play a meeple to it as a "Revalutionary" (lying down).

On a subsequent turn if you draw another revolution tile and can add it to the same city (the same as before or through later connection) you can play another revolutionary (lying down).

When two revolutionaries of the same colour are in the same city (before or at the moment of completion) both stand up and are counted as knights of their colour for majority of the city.

Their pennants are counted instead of the blue ones.

or if no revolutions occur the most pennants of either colour score.
