Still not done yet, up to 16 pages of tiles (yes that's 16x15 = 240 new tiles), and a few more I still have to do.

It has recently occured to me that I may not be making these at a high enough resolution, and I might be being a little too loosey-goosey with "allowable errors".  i.e I've been pretty careless with making the edges look good, because I figure they're going to get cut out anyways.  All I've been going with is what I can see on the screen, and I've never printed off custom tiles, so I don't know how good they need to look to print off well.

Can somebody print a few of these off and see how they look in real life?   (I am not going to be able to print these off and make actual tiles for a long time)  See the download links for PDFs, I don't want to post ALL the pages since I'm still working on them, and I've got to watermark them, etc.

Note: rapidshare files, 10 downloads max....

Many thanks for any comments on the quality!!  Specifics will be helpful: i.e such-and-such tile is too "smudgy", such-and-such edge looks terrible.

Wow...Yeah, you're insane.  But that's an awesome project you got going on.  The resolution looks okay, although you can see there's grains in the grass that run in different directions on some of the tiles.  I'll print them them out tomorrow and see what they look like on paper, unless someone else beats me to it. =b

So I downloaded page 2 (I think), it has 5 cloisters on it, while the majority of the rest of the tiles are city end pieces that stretch across the tile. In the 3 tiles on the left side of the page with the cloisters, you can tell which parts of the field has been edited as the greens are noticeably different.  But at least it's light/dark green and not two different shades of green.  I'm not so picky, as I could live with it, but you did say you wanted comments about them.

The resolution looks fine, but there is a bigger problem, the tiles are too small.  The inside border of each tile should be 1.75in.  As it is set up now, the tile plus the border that is supposed to be cut off prints out as 1.75in.  So the tiles should be increased in size. Hope that helps.

Would resizing the whole page solve this?  I will attempt that first, before resizing all the tiles...

Yeah, if you can re-size the page, that should work.

Picky is good!  When making 250+ tiles some quality has to suffer but I'll try to fix up as much as I can.  The grain of the grass is annoying too, I only started caring about that later in the process so I'll go fix as much as I can.  I think I've finished making tiles now (264 total) so I'll go do some fixing up for a while.

I can't seem to get the downloads to work. Sad Is there any way I can get the files?
