Have you thought about how this would be played with the forest expansion.  Sorry if you've addressed that already.  I haven't had a chance to read it all the way through.

As a matter of fact, I was thinking about playing with the forest expansion.  I'm thinking that it should be treated like a small forest, except the person that completes the forest gets the fence piece as long as there is a sawmill in a field that touches that completed forest.

I got the rule write-up done.  I've included a simplified and advanced set of rules done in a similar style to the Wheel of Fortune rules.  Feel free to let me know of any edits, changes, suggestions, additions, quetions, or if anything is missing.  Thanks!

Now I need to start working on making the tiles

==EDIT==
Tiles are done and can be found here:
http://gwommy.tripod.com/carcassonne/FenceTiles.pdf
Once it the rules are confirmed to be error free, I'll put these files in a ZIP file.

Additional Rules: This fan-made expansion, Fences, is to be played together with the Carcassonne game. It is also compatible with any
Carcassonne expansions.  Also, the paragraph needs text justification.

Question: Can the bridge tile be played on a CFRF tile where the road goes to the city and separates it into two fields?  How about the FSRS tile with the cloister where the road goes over a bridge and ends at the cloister (3 field areas on that tile).  Likewise, can the tunnel tile be played on the large bridge tile with the small forest (or any large bridge tiles like that)?

Comment: Interactions (both of the lumberjack and the fence pieces) with The Catapult, Tower, CoC and Dragon not stated with the rules.  The interaction of the fence piece with the barn, the wagon and the abbey is also unclear.

Comment: I thought the idea of the fences was to separate the fields?  I don't see that in the rules (but I'm rushing through this so I could have missed it)

Thanks for the help.  I've made all of the suggested fixes.  Although, Novelty, I don't know what you mean by "the paragraph needs text justification"?

That'd be a no to all 3 questions.  I've also cleared it up in the rules.

Align left, right, center, justified.  It makes it neat so that it lines up on the left and right margins.

Erm... I don't see any rules there.  Those looks like tiles to me.

Oh!  I see what justified does now.  That's pretty cool.  Good eye!

And yeah, sorry I must've copied the wrong link:

It's still not clear from the rules that the fences separate the fields so that they are scored separately.  Other than that, everything looks good.
