I'm definitely getting this. The scoreboard and point counters will work in the base game very nicely, and integrating the two games together should be possible (earn points both from the tile placement and the cards), though would probably result in 1000+ point games.

I've just uploaded an English translation of the Car(d)cassonne rules to BGG - http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/58798

Hopefully the moderators over there will approve them fairly quickly so they'll be available for download.

Visited the FLGS today, and according to the owner, the RGG edition of the card game is scheduled for release exactly 4 days before Christmas.

I forgot to check to see if this was released on time, but it is listed (for CAD$29.95) on the web site of my FLGS which means he has it now.
