It requires an alteration, a change.

Greeting one and all..

I am new to the group having recently discovered Carcassonne and first off I'd like to thank Gantry and Matthew and everyone who has contributed to this great site. I have been blown away by some of the stuff on here (especially the home made expansions) and looking forward to participating in the forum. I have question regarding wagons.

I already have a wagon on an uncompleted road, then I draw a tile that completes that road. I score for the road, then move the wagon to the next incomplete road after the junction. Am I still allowed to place a follower on the tile that I just drew?

Can someone also send me the email address at HiG in order to buy some blank tiles.

Many thanks guys and keep up the good work.

The answer is no.

However, you can play a follower on the tile you just drew before the road is scored and (way way before) the wagon is moved, provided that the other rules of Carcassonne still apply (e.g. city segment is unoccupied, farm doesn't have a farmer, etc.), so you can't, for example, play another follower on the just completed road with the wagon that will be scored after you place the meeple.

I hope that answers your question.

Welcome to Carcassonne Central Smiley

Yes you can, but, as Novelty says, in a different order. First you draw the tile and lay it. This will now complete the road, but you do not score for the road just yet. You can then deploy a follower to the tile (although the follower cannot be deployed to the road that is occupied by the Wagon). Now you score for the Wagon. After scoring, the Wagon is free to move to an uncomplete, unoccupied and connected feature.
