I am planning to collect together the small mini-expansions The Gallows, In the Stocks, Jousting Tournament, The Orders of Chivalry and another 'pipelined' expansion.

This would have all 12 tiles on one page (for convienience) and all the rules footnotes modified to allow all these to work together.

The working title is: 'The Medieval Expansion'

Work has already started on the rules. I will upload a draft when ready.

Wow, nice work with a collected edition.  Let's see, 1 jousting tournament tile, 4 orders of Chivalry, 4 gallows and 2 stocks.  That makes 11?

Right, so that's 10 tiles so far?  The reason I'm asking is how many tiles will "pipeline" expansion have...

Oh, my bad!  So that's 12 tiles already.  It will be good to have a collected edition.

Now, can you imagine how crazy it will be to have a collected Forests edition? Grin  I think there'll be almost 300 tiles in there...

It is also a better way to host them. Collected in one, and rules updated to account for just 1 expansion.

Now that would be something!  Grin

I think it would also be best to make the rules available in the individual format.  For example, I might want to play with Gallows, but not Stocks and I won't necessary want to print up a compilation of rules for all the 5 fan-made expansions.

It stands at 234 tiles currently I think.  237 if you include the 3 from Gold Mines (which will not be collected with the rest of the forest tiles).  Evergreen Forest will probably have 45 more tiles for a grand total of 279.  Oh and I have something called Royal Forest in the planning stages that might add 1 more tile.  We shall see.

My current plan:
Finish off Fishermen
Then Evergreen Forest
Then Kettle of Fish
[Insert Royal Forest here]
Then Whispering Woods
Then Fairy Tales

Then Forests + Green Dragon + Merry Men + Timber! + Evergreen Forest + Royal Forest + Fairy Tales can be collected together as the ultimate Forests Big Box Smiley  I'll thow in An Apple A Day if that gets finalised by then too.

Fishermen + Kettle of Fish + Whispering Woods will probably be the start of the Fishermen Big Box!

That depends if you have heard of 'Print Range' settings!

What I mean by rulebook, is simply a compilation of the individual rules (just with a few added footnotes for clarity). They rulebook would be set out in chapters: Hog Roast, The Gallows, In the Stocks, Orders of Chivalry and Jousting Tournament. Those that require the rules individually could just select a 'Page Range' to print out.

Edit: Just as a basic idea:The Medieval Expansion

Ah, I originally thought you were going to have everything merged together in the rules so that it became a mismash of all the expansions.  If it's just a "print range" collection, then I'd like a zip file with the separate rules document please - I'd much rather just open and print the document I want instead of opening a bigger than file than I wanted (longer opening time) and then figuring out which "page range" i want, remember to type it in when I print and to remember I can't use the print button anymore since that won't allow me to do a page range.  Way too much work IMO.  There's no harm doing a collected edition with chapters and everything as well, since there will be someone who would want that (and would want to print out everything with one go!), but that would mean doing maintenance on two copies of the same thing...

However, I would be glad to get all 12 tiles on a single sheet - and that should now be possible since all 12 tiles are ready.

The Medieval Expansion has been updated to include the four mini-expansions Jousting Tournament, The Orders of Chivalry, The Gallows and In the Stocks. I thought it best that The Medieval Expansion just be a tile based expansion. The dropped mini-expansion, Hog Roast, is currently in development, but will contain a white pig (or pigs). This is deemed a specialist expansion because of the availability of white pigs. Obviously you cannot download a white pig, but, of course, tiles you can!

The four sets of rules have been updated to take account of rules regarding the use of the mini-expansions together.

Instead of one document, the rules have been kept as separate documents, so users can easily choose which expansion rules they want to print out (a suggestion by Novelty Smiley ), without the need to worry about printing page ranges. The tiles are all now on one page for ease of printing.

I will upload all four expansions with tile sheet in one zip file shortly Smiley

Edit: Download The Medieval Expansion
