I'm not sure how many of you ever check out the stats page for the forums, but I feel that it's worth making a post about it now.

January was quite simply a spectacular month here on the CarcassonneCentral forums. Here's why:
- we had 32992 hits, almost twice the previous best (which was December, with 16925)
- there were 25 new topics, just 2 behind the previous highest (last July)
- there were 398 topic replies, trouncing the previous best of 331 (last April)
- and 78 new members, third best behind March and April last year—in other words, the best since the launch of the site.

That's just awesome, and I'd like to thank everyone for being so involved.

This place is becoming quite active. Seeing several posts per day is great compared to the handful of posts per week when I first joined.

New expansions tend to do that to sites like this. It's all great though, since from every couple dozen new users a few will remain active Smiley

They did most of the work putting the site together, but it just wouldn't be the same without users.

I really Really hope you didn't mean that to sound as harsh as it reads!!

Well done Matt and Gantry - As they say from little acorns mighty oaks do grow.

I didn't mean for it to sound harsh, and I'm not sure what makes it sound harsh to you. Users are an important part of any community-type site. Building a site about our favorite game is one thing, but building a place where people can get together and share their love for the game is so much more.

Well, besides myself, I did notice a few new posters recently.  So that's a good thing as well.  We should encourage more people to participate on this forum.
