Fantasy Football

Fantasy football is getting really big in the U.S.  I've been really getting into it.  Are there any other players here?

dunno about football, can't stand the game myself... but I'm an F1 fan and run what is essentially a works competition with invited others of Fantasy Grand Prix.... and have a website for it!

Well, I've got my league up and running.  Just need to sign up the last few players and we'll be ready to go.  I'm looking forward to it!

I just joined an NFL Pick 'em league sponsored by a guy at BGG.  Entry fee and all prizes are in Geek Gold.  Entry is 10 and prizes are 10 for weekly winner and payouts scaled at the end by the amount in the pot up to 6th place I think.  I believe it's a 16 point pool for picks so in case you don't know how it works, there are 16 games each week (when there are no byes).  You pick the winner of each game and assign 16 points to the one your most sure about and 1 point the one you're least sure about while assigning the rest accordingly.  It should be fun.  I didn't have the GG, but I appealed to the board and someone donated it for me.  If you're a football fan on the geek, check it out HERE.

BTW, I had my first fantasy draft last night, my own league.  I'm playing in 5 leagues this year... I might be crazy.  We'll see.

HERE is another version.  An NFL Suicide League.  Every week pick one team that you know is going to win.  If they win, you stay in, if they lose, you're out.  You can never pick the same team twice.  Somebody makes it to the end, they win the everyone's 5 GG buy in.
