Just posting a semi-review-ish-thing of CK&C.

Today I got this, and this is for people who want to know whether to get it or not if they have the small expansions already.

Pieces:
The only piece here is the count, but I noticed he is not only a slightly different colour, but also taller and slightly thinner than the one from my RGG count. Not worth it to just get the count piece (unless you want to paint for the pope/ missionary/ dual dragon/ other fan-expansion.

Tiles:
The main difference between the cult tiles here and in CS&C is that there is one less, and I noticed that the cult image is actually slightly smaller here. No other differences, other than colour. However, the smaller expansions often vary in shade/ saturation from each other and the base game, and with this they are all the same saturation, and closer to the base game which is much better. Maybe worth getting it, with 36 tiles from the old expansions now being available for fan-expansions.

Watermark:
Worth it. Makes it so much easier to sort out tiles.

Box:
This may sound trivial, but I hate the mini expansion boxes (half of them are falling apart), and this makes my collection look much nicer, and matches the other boxes perfectly (except this is in german). Worth it.

Rules:
Another trivial matter, especially as this is also in german, but the diagram for the count looks better than the one in RGG count. Not worth it.

In conclusion, I would say it is worth it. The watermarks are good, I love the box, and now I have some tiles to make the fan-expansions with (haven't worked out what to do with the count yet).

Nice little review. I decided to purchase CK&C when I was in Britain last fall, since shipping from Germany was considerably cheaper. I pretty much completely agree with your review. The extra piece is hardly worth noting, but the tiles are a more consistent color than the various mini expansion pieces (especially the two other versions of Cult!) and the watermark basically makes the entire "large" expansion worth buying. The box, too, even in German, looks much better on a shelf than the little mini expansion boxes. Oddly, though, I decided to print out today all the tuck-boxes from BGG to save space and they look really good together, but the main reason for that is that my Carc boxes are all at my parent's house in central California in storage and inaccessible to me right now. Your last point about the rules is a valid problem, they are in German, but I hear Matt Harper has some little rules booklet call the CAR and I figure that probably will suffice for any official rules.

One suggestion about what to do with the Count (or any other duplicate expansions, for that matter), if you don't want them, give them away as a present in their original mini boxes (if they are still alive). I gave my brother-in-law all of my duplicate boxes for Christmas last year (with a copy of Carcassonne and Inns & Cathedrals). He loves them and I don't have to worry about them. Keep Cult, Siege & Creativity, though, since the siege tiles are unique to that set. Great summary!

I'm using the count box to hold GQ11, the siege tiles and the 1 cult tile NOT in CK&C. The rest of the tiles are destined for fan-expansions. I'll probably purchase P&D again sometime next year, to get a copy with watermarks (plus dual dragon, fairy=missionary and more fan tiles). My copy of the tower is also un-watermarked, but each tile has a tower foundation so it isn't as big a problem.

It's definitely not worth it for me now since I've got Big Box 2.  I know the BB2 is slightly more expensive, but it's also better value for money pieces wise, AND the rules are in English.  Besides, I wanted a large box to keep all my stuff together.  I guess it depends on context at the end of the day!  I'm happy for you though m-e!  At least you now have some tiles for fan-made expansions.
