Each month , as a group, we will concentrate our focus on developing one of the "archived" expansions to get it to "completed".  Archived expansions are those where ideas have been proposed, but little or no work has been done to get it to "completed" (i.e. Public Downloads status.  I propose that as a team/group, we work through the issues and come to consensus about the final idea and then someone or someones (volunteers, hopefully) will create the tiles and the rules to get it ready for download.

Also, during each month, we will also vote on the next expansion that we would like to concentrate on the following month.  The options for November 2009 (voting in October 2009) are:

The Constable - idea by kissybooboo (1 vote previously)
Meeple Upgrades - idea by kjamma4
Foreign Trader - idea by Lakoda
The "King" and Citadel Meeple - idea by Joff
The Apprentice - idea by Jabberwocky
Icons - idea by Deatheux
Oxbow - idea by Jabberwocky
Four Horsemen of the Acopolypse - idea by PinkPaiseley
Here Be Dragons - idea by Jabberwocky
City Council - idea by Chrallan
Roman Influence - idea by CKorfmann
Sorcerer - idea by Ailurus
Natural Disasters - idea by CKorfmann

Remember, only vote if you are going to contribute (i.e. post your ideas/suggestions) next month.  To those named above - if you would like your expansion to be removed from the list, please let me know.  Vote by posting below, and please state what you'd be willing to contribute.  Thanks.  You may also change your vote if you wish, before the end of October.

I'd like to vote for the City Counsil.  It could use some tweaking but still sounds fun to add voting into the game.

Of course, I can help with any or all parts of it.

I'll throw in my vote for natural disasters too.  We had some good ideas working.

Well, I guess that answers the question.  There are at least 3 people who want it.  I'll bring forward the date to November (and have removed the quotes in the original post so that it reads better).  I'm not going to vote on this until I have done the things that I've said I'll do.  Current vote:

Natural Disasters: 2
City Council: 1

As usual, votes may be changed before the end of the month.

Mr. Whaley, would you want to add either or both of your expansions (Relics, Moated City) to the list?

Yay!

So in case of a tie, we can do them both, right?

We wait for another voter (in case of an uber-tie where no one else wants to vote, I guess the person/ people volunteering to do the expansion would decide.

It will depend on who is making the tiles.  Both can go ahead if there's a tie if there are people willing to make the tiles for them.  Or I might break the tie by the end of the month if I can finish the things I've promised before then.  Whoever wants City Council to win the vote could also send a PM to the creator and ask him to vote for it - after it's his idea and he's probably done lots of work on it.  Likewise, there have been people who've been excited about the Natural Disaster expansion - they could be contacted and asked if they are willing to help.

Votes so far:
City Council: 2
Natural Disasters: 2

In other words, it's still up for grabs with 10 days left to go.

Edit: I guess I'll break the tie.  I vote City Council.

New vote count:
City Council: 3
Natural Disasters: 2
