Well folks, it's time I announce yet another new expansion... The Fortune Teller. This one is not too complicated, yet introduces a new dynamic none the less. Let me know what you all think.  Smiley

This looks good.  I only found one grammar mistake and two formatting issues.

Paragraph 3 of Being a Fortune Teller (grammar):

"A player will lose the ability to draw multiple tiles as soon as the fortune teller tile is surrounded by tiles on it’s four sides and
the Fortune Teller is returned to it’s owner."

For correct grammar, both instances of "it's" (i.e. it is) in that sentence should be "its" (without the apostrophe).

Formatting:
Playing with Additional Expansions - The Princess and Dragon section does not have the text justified.
The page number missing on Page 2 (top right).

Another great expansion idea!

OK, I'll add it to Public Downloads once it finishes uploading!  Thanks for another great expansion!

I would suggest that the Fortune Teller be eligible for conversion by the Missionary.

After playing with the Fortune Teller expansion several times, I am willing to say that I consider it to be one of my favorite expansions. It's very simple, yet provides a unique component that I am very fond of. However, after playing with it, I decided that I wanted the fortune teller design to be larger on the tile. I think it looks much better now. So...here's the new link to the bigger design.

Is it possible the public download link can be updated with these tiles?

I was thinking that maybe you could make another tile with a Fortune Teller next to a river section.  You could put it in the middle there.  The big reason I suggest this is to have some tile in there so it's not wasted when printing on sticker paper.  Know what I mean?  Grin

Has anyone considered just using the catapult tiles since they are generally useless otherwise?

The Fortune Teller is one of my favorite of my created expansions. With that said, I'm willing to admit it had some of the weakest art work of all of my expansions. Therefore, I made some updated tiles to make it a bit better looking. So if anyone is interested, here they are!  Smiley   http://www.mediafire.com/?uha68pavocmslsc

Nice job with the redo.  I suspect it will be one of my favorites as well as I have been wanting to play with these for a while now and have never gotten around to making them.  Maybe for once, my procrastination paid off.  Wink

The re-dos look nice.  I've already printed and use (often) the prior version, and it's one of my favorites too, right behind your "By Order of the King" cards.  Thanks for enhancing my enjoyment of the game!

As always your artwork is wonderful.  I like that you added a river tile.  I am curious as why you changed the CCCC tile to a CCCR tile.  At my house we tend to be less worried about that teller because it is one the owner usually finishes.  Is it possible to remake that tile with the new FT image?  Thanks and as always keep up the great work you have added much extra excitement to our Carcassonne games!

I made the CCCC tile into a CCCR tile because I felt as though there may have been too many CCCC tiles. With that said, I remade the tile with the updated image. I'm glad everyone has been finding so much enjoyment out of my expansions. It's the best part about making them!   Grin

Here's the link with all the tiles (with the CCCC tile, instead of the CCCR tile): http://www.mediafire.com/?2857pgdqr87pbbw

hello,

unfortunatelly the download link doesn't work anymore in the download section. but i downloaded the tiles and rules from this thread. the rules are a bit older - talking about 8 tiles while there are 9 meanwhile. is there a new version of the rules as well somewhere?

greetings
