So, for those of you who have created expansions with new features (like the forest, water features, and eventually mountains, etc.), how do you think those can be used with the Count of Carcassonne expansion?  Or, does CC not affect those features?

If the writer of the rules are clever, it's usually included in the rules how the City of Carcassonne interacts with the expansion.  The Forests rules state very clearly that a follower cannot be deployed from the CoC to a forest, for example.  However, players may choose to discard that rule or change it as a variant.
