Wow!  Forest tiles made... with a watermark.  Did you resize the tiles when you added the watermark?  I think the trees looked different to me...

Amazing....fantastic job with the box and the tiles.
I had started on a box as well but I'm not sure mine will come close to this idea.
I need to know more about this tile cutter (blanking) press and die you've made.  Can you post a bit more about this?  pics/process/comparison with regular tiles.  How easy/difficult to register when cutting?
I'm very interested in this.....

Thanks!

Hi!

Greetings from the Caribbean Beach Cheesy

It's very easy, but I had to pay a little bit for it. After my vacations I will tell a little bit more about the cutter, which i bought on eb*y for EUR 55 incl shipping. The difficult thing is to match the register while glueing front and back page to the A4-cards. Cutting the tiles and matching register is easy but takes time. I will post some more photos in a week..

Sunny Greetings

Hey Tobi,

Thanks for the reply....and while on holiday's too!

I had a similar idea about making tiles, which is why i'm so interested.  I have a press at work but would just need the rule die (cookie cutter part).
I can image the difficulty in registering the front and back pieces as well as the time to register the final product for cutting (called blanking).

I look forward to seeing more when you return.....have a great holiday!

Cheers,
Chris

It's been said before, but very impressive!  I very much like the tower.  Especially how nicely everything fits in the drawers.

I noticed in the close up shots of the forest tiles that they had a tree watermark.  I didn't see them before.  Did someone add them?

Yes - me  Grin

I produced so many tiles - so I can sort them correctly after a game...

I also had to arrange all the tiles new for saving paper and time while sticking and pressing the tiles...

Very nice.  If I'd read the post, I wouldn't have had to ask that question!   Book
