No, the road is not complete.

Novelty will give you the definitive answer Smiley

Judging by your interpretation of the tile, Joff, there is only one road, correct? In that case. why is the tile nor portrayed like the farm blocking CFRR from A&M? By looking at the tile, I get the suggestion that it is intended to be like the CRRR tiles from AotC.

Yes, that is correct. There is only 1 road on this tile as there is no junction divider, BUT the road does connect to the city!

I cannot give an answer as to why it is not portrayed like the CFRR A&M tile, as I never made it. It does look similar to the CRRR AotC tile, but I get the impression that the road does not end. The rules do state clearly that crossings (and junctions) are dividers as are cities and cloisters.

"A road is completed when the road segments on both sides end in a crossing, a city segment or a cloister, or when the road forms a closed circle"

So the road appears to join the city but does not come to an end.

I suspect that my interpretation of this tile is the intention of Novelty and Scott (the tile is from the Forests expansion), but as such, the definitive answer should come from either of them Smiley

Joff is correct.  koolkat, tell your wife I said sorry she's wrong and I hope she's not angry with me.

I've posted a picture of the tile near the top of the picture by koolkat.  The intention of the road is from the right to the bottom (continuous) with a side road connecting it to the city (more options for the wagon to move to).  This till enables a road without a roundabout to connect more than one city.

Edit:

I cannot give an answer as to why it is not portrayed like the CFRR A&M tile

That tile does not connect to a city, so there's some who will interpret that a wagon cannot move from the road into the city, which was not what I wanted when I created the tile below.  Let's just say I had ideas about travelling jesters, but that name got taken, so now I'm reworking it as a travelling salesman or something Smiley  It might take a while until I have a coherent idea for that...

Thank you for clarifying this edge case. And thank you also for adding to the list of distinctly different possible CFRR tiles...

There are at least 6 of these tiles in Forests.  Of course, you'll need forests to play them (or you can request for them in my request thread without the forest I guess).

I specifically meant CF(arm)RR, and not CW(oods)RR.

Sorry, I didn't realise that was sarcasm...  Well, you don't have to take them into account for CFRR since there are none at the moment with this novel configuration.
