Traders and Builders: Do I get a double turn immediately after laying a Builder?

First of a few simple questions - I'm splitting them out into separate threads to make it easier for others to find the answers...

Subject says it all - we were playing T&B for the first time this afternoon and we were taking our double turn immediately after laying our builder.  For instance, on page 23 of CAR 5.0B3, immediately after playing the tile labled "2)" we would draw another tile on the same turn. 

From reading the rules in more detail, however, I have a sneaking suspicion that this is not correct.

Could I get a quick confirmation on whether you do or do not get a double turn right after deploying the builder?

You don't get a double turn on playing the builder.  You only get it the next turn ("yet a later turn") and not the turn when the builder is played.
