Versions of Games

I have trying to find an answer on the forum..but maybe I am blind........

In looking of the CAR, It states that Rio Grande Games uses version 1 city/farm scoring.....but I have purchased the Rio Grand Version of Carcassonne this past summer with most of the expansion...and this one definately uses version 3 city/farm scoring.....even the example pictures show that cities can be counted twice for 3 points (by touching different farms).

Am I confused or did Rio Grande Games start using Version 3 soring?

Rio Grande Games have indeed now changed to 3rd edition scoring. This happened this year. I would recommened that you use 3rd edition scoring from now on.
