I just played new world tonight and a few questions came to mind so here they are. The first applies to hunters do the forests cut off hunting areas or do only roads and city walls. Next question pertaining to the surveyors if both surveyors are stuck at the western most point and no tiles are put further west of them when a feature is completed do meeples get removed behind the surveyors? If both surveyors are on a column and one moves west do meeples get removed behind the eastern most surveyor?
That's about it for now. I really like the game and am surprised at how high the scoring can go!

The answer would be "Yes" to both those questions.

Page 3 of the rules, last paragraph, last line:
Quote
A player may place a settler on a just-placed tile in columns "east" of the explorer...as such a settler (not trapper) will be removed immediately after the next scoring!
