As I've always maintained that this is a community site in the truest sense of the word, today I just got notification of our first bit of income from advertising, someone bought something from meeple people, by clicking on our affiliate link on our home page. To that person, I'd like to say

Any money (or products, donations etc) collected is always turned back into the site in one form or another, such as paying for prizes, hosting fees or what have you. We admittedly haven't done much in this regard, and I want to assure you that we will try to keep any advertising as unobtrusive and classy as possible.
