ok, ok, ok i see 2 different version of this question but what is the official ruling... A farmer with his pgi(!?!?!?) or Knight teamed with an architect are in play. a Dragon beat the hell out of the board and eats the knight teamed with the architect AND the farmer with his lovely pig... DO THE Architect and the lovely pig are also removed or MAY still in the play???

OK, to be clear we always played as the pig / architect get the heck out with his parteneer, but last night on the online game, the architect(in the game) was NOT removed from play... Here the wondering point.

ALSO, the pig herd, do the farmer MUST be on the "pig herd tile" or to be in the same field to "cash in".

There is how many "pig herd" in the game??? 1 or 2(river II Tile + Mini expansion?) in the PDF file of Mini expansion, there is a "pig herd" but this was disclaimed by Mr. Matthew... any idea? i guess that we have to use only 1 pig herd...

If you mean the Builder (instead of the Architect), then yes, the builder and the pig is removed if the respective knight or farmer is removed.  Footnote 53 in the new CAR.

Officially, there is 1 pig herd tile in the game - only the one in Rivers 2 is considered as a pig herd tile.  The Mini Expansion/Games Quarterly tile is not officially a pig herd tile.  (However, if your friends agree, you may play it as the pig herd tile as a variation of the rules.)  The farmer does not need to be on the same tile as the pig herd to get the bonus, it just needs to be in the same field as per the rules.

Yes, I've played the online version by BSW. It's quite good, but there are quite a few rule discrepancies, and not all the expansions are included either.

ahh the online game.. i play it quite frequently and have noticed some major flaws in the system. The dragon expansion sometimes doesnt allow you to place a farmer when it is completely legal to do so. also the 2 point small city rule applies. I notice a few other things but not that major.

I wish they would get the abbey and mayor, river 2 expansions put on it..

no idea.. most of the time you are playing someone who is not well versed in english and all the menu and alert stuff is all in german or some language like it...

lol it's true!! but as far as i know, the game is setted as that for a while... cuz of liscence duties, they just lost(2 month ago) the Puerto Rico game due to that. i guess that they don't want to waste a lot of timeim prg and lost it to liscences!
