Builder question

Hi all first post , question once i place my builder does he generate 2 draws every turn or just the turn when hes placed?

Whenever you place a tile that extends the city or road that your builder is on, you may take your double turn.

So, yes, he generates an extra turn, but only when you place a tile on the city or road that he is on.

To clarify further, you do not get an extra turn on the turn that you place the builder, only after.

You also do not get an extra turn if you place the abbey tile (from Abbey & Mayor) to border a feature with the builder in it.
