Has anyone seen the Solazy expansion on BGG?  (Solazy is their username).  It's got some really cool ideas for tiles and he did a pretty good job with the art.  Some of the better ideas are The Gladiator Arena (a single tile kind of like the jousting or archery but with a different function), and walls (city sections with only the walls of the city remaining.  They are definately worth a look.  Search for Solazy on BGG.  If I can find the link again, I'll post it.

Thanks for the link Chris.  Yes, those are some great tiles.  Someone should invite him here to post about his expansions and maybe to split his ideas off into individual expansions!

I finally got to send him the invite today.  Hopefully, he'll come and check us out soon.

Have yet to hear anything after about a month.  When I get the opportunity, I'm going to give this a second effort.  I really like some of those tiles and I'd like to get our stamp on them!   {ct

Made another effort to contact him today.  We'll see what happens.

Another several weeks and still nothing.  I've been emailing him at the address provided with the file at BGG.  Anyone have any other ideas?

Well, that confirms it.  I'm now convinced that Facebook is like a real, live Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.  I finally found Justin Peters (solazy) on Facebook.  Do you know how many Justin Peters' live in Iowa... several.  I've invited him here.  Let's hope he joins us.

I know it's been some time and we used some of his concepts on a few expansions, but wanted to make sure it was understood that I did get a response from him and we have his permission to use them.

That's good to know.  So, now that the tiles are done, someone just have to get the rules prettied up!  Have fun!
