Title: Voting corrections Post by: koolkat on January 15, 2009, 06:00:29 am Here's some suggestions/remarks to our staff:
1) I know that the Voting section is only for voting, but since we can post, we should be able to modify/correct our statements. Like that, we could avoid unnecessarly extra posting. 2) We also should be able to change our voting. Concearning 1) and 2) : We sometimes make mistakes, you know?... :) Title: Re: Voting corrections Post by: Novelty on January 15, 2009, 09:16:33 am It's a forum software setting. I have no idea if simple machines forum have that capability. If it does, Gantry would have to set it, but as he has already said, he'll be doing a review, once things settle down with him. We just have to be patient, more understanding and make do with what we currently have. Be happy that there are at least some polls to vote in :)
Title: Re: Voting corrections Post by: koolkat on January 15, 2009, 09:27:54 am As I said several times, I'm (very) happy with this forum and with all of you, folks! Don't get it wrong! It was just a remark/suggestion, as I said!...
Title: Re: Voting corrections Post by: Novelty on January 15, 2009, 09:32:55 am Don't get me wrong, your remark/suggestion is welcome, but there's not much a lot of people can do at the moment. Just sit back and enjoy the ride.
Title: Re: Voting corrections Post by: koolkat on January 15, 2009, 09:34:36 am You bet I will! I'll even get a "TICKET TO RIDE" ! ;)
Title: Re: Voting corrections Post by: Novelty on January 15, 2009, 09:40:09 am Europe, US, Nordic or Swiss? :)
And it might not be possible to change one's voting based on the software, but I guess it can always be a feature request at Simple Machines Forums. We'll just have to wait for Gantry to get back (no hurry though, Gantry, do what you have to do first). Title: Re: Voting corrections Post by: Gantry on February 28, 2009, 10:31:00 pm Yes, I can allow polls to be changed by voters. Will do this for all existing and future polls. good point!
update: okay, I've edited all the forum polls so you can change your own vote. |
