i need help figuring out this game I just got it and it is a little confusing. here are some things i need help with:
what happens if you reach more points than are on the board?
if you have 4 tiles to a completed road and a thief on each of the four tiles does that count as 16 points?
there those two questions will help a lot thank you to anyone who responds!

what happens if you reach more points than are on the board?
You use the "50" points tile and then go on to 1, 2, 3, etc. as usual.  If you don't have the 50 point tile from I&C (I think), you'll have to use something else to help you remember that that player has got more than 50 points.  At the end of the game, just add the 50 to the current score on the scoring track.

Alternatively, you can print out the scoring track found in the Public Downloads (http://www.carcassonnecentral.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=48&Itemid=61).

if you have 4 tiles to a completed road and a thief on each of the four tiles does that count as 16 points?
The answer depends on the colour of the thieves.  If it was 4 RED thieves, then RED would get 4 points.  If it was 3 RED thieves and 1 BLUE thief, then red would still get 4 points.  If it was 2 RED thieves and 2 BLUE thieves, then RED would get 4 points and BLUE would get 4 points.

However, it would be hard to get a thief on each of the 4 tiles.  Remember you can't put a thief on a road that already has a thief.  However, you can put a thief on the "end" of a road and a thief on another "end" and connect them together with a tile.  In which case, there are 2 thieves on a 3 tile road.  Again, if the thieves are the same colour, then the player who owns both scores 3 points.  If there is one of each colour, then both player scores 3 points.

I hope that helps.

If it was 2 RED thieves and 2 BLUE thieves, then RED would get 4 points and BLUE would get 4 points.

Regarding more than 50 points, if you don't have the 50/100 scoring tiles and don't have the means to print the larger scoring tracks, a simple method is to turn the meeples on their sides after passing 50 the first time, and on their heads after passing 50 the second time. Or you could get a piece of paper, write down everybody's name, and put a tick mark for each time they pass 50.

What I did when playing a couple of weeks ago (and not using The Tower) was put a tower block under it for each lap. Gets a bit unstable after more than 4, though...

I guess I'll have to build a big manual scoreboard like those on golf tournments.

Where do I find your program?  I'd like to check it out.

Thanks

Yes, but I need something to be updated whenever there's a scoring, without the use of a PC...
