That is excellent! Brings me to think, many people have small netbook computers (like my Acer Aspire One (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aspire_One)) or laptop computers, creating an easy to use visual basic application wouldn't be too hard to do. I'll add this to the Links page, nice find Joff. Anyone going to buy one from the guy? ???

Not at the price he says he would have to make them for!!!! :) I just conveted it to English pounds.... £157.00 !!! I don't think so thank you very much squire!! Title: Re: Electronic Carcassonne Scoreboard Post by: mathguy89 on December 08, 2008, 10:27:17 pm It does seem a bit expensive. I wonder how complicated it would be to create an excel program to do something similar, at least in terms of displaying total points and place. I shall experiment and report my findings.
Title: Re: Electronic Carcassonne Scoreboard Post by: mathguy89 on December 08, 2008, 11:27:25 pm It actually wasn't all that complicated. If anyone is interested in an excel file that will run a rank system and keep track of points, just send me a PM and I'll get back to you.
Just to keep things on the actual topic - The scoreboard looks awesome, but without a the option to buy it, or b the expendable funds to buy it, other things work. Not that there is anything wrong with the scoreboard as it is, or with the new ones that have been so well done, just offering an alternative.
