Title: Printing tiles?? Post by: skalynuik on November 16, 2008, 06:37:24 am I know this question, atleast somewhere either here or somewhere else on the web, but I have not found yet, has been answered.
What is the best way to print either tiles already existing from any of the officail sets or user variants found on the web? My thought is use a photographic matt paper for the image layer, a plain matt for the back and paste them to a thicker card for the middle to make them the same thickness of the rest of the pieces and pinch the corners so they are not entirely square. Am I too ambitious? What are your ideas short of getting blanks and printing them or trying to find used tiles to Carcassonne at some second hand store, (yea right like someone would ever get rid of this game, not while I am alive :() Thank-you, Great website Steve Title: Re: Printing tiles?? Post by: Joff on November 16, 2008, 06:41:32 am Hi Steve,
I have used Zeta card to great effect. See this thread: http://www.carcassonnecentral.com/forum/index.php?topic=89.msg1653#msg1653 (http://www.carcassonnecentral.com/forum/index.php?topic=89.msg1653#msg1653) The other way is to purchase a small expansion and use the tiles themselves to mount on. Probably the easiest is to get the kind where the whole page is one giant label, because regardless you're going to be attacking it with a hobby knife or scissors.
